When looking for the best inversion table under $300 for 2016 it’s worth noting that there are currently a lot of high quality units in this group. On many other sites when you make this search you end up with a list of all the units they have reviewed under this price range.
What good does that do you in getting closer to which one is the best? If you already knew that answer you wouldn’t be searching. That’s why you are looking for an incline machine expert, someone who not only uses an incline unit every day, but who has also researched every major brand. This is the kind of person who can narrow the playing field down and do the heavy lifting for you. This is the person who can take all their research and lay out a description of the best decompression unit under $300 in a way that you will clearly understand why it is the best. That’s why you are here!
[toc]I’ll tell you right up front that after all my research I have determined that the best inversion table under $300 for 2016 is the Teeter Hang Ups EP 560. I am going to explain in great detail how I came to this definitive decision. It pains me to write this article because this is not the model I bought. I bought the one listed on a major retail site as being the bestselling without researching why it was not really the best choice. I’m going to describe every important working aspect common to all decompression units and tell you what makes the Teeter EP 560 different and in most cases better than all the competition.
Hands down this had to be one of the major deciding factors in selecting this model. Is quality construction and safety important to you? Well it is to me too, that why I’m recommending to you the only unit that carries the Underwriters Laboratory listing of being UL 1647 compliant. What this means to you is that while this unit is rated to hold up to 300 lbs. it was tested by UL with 1400 lbs. of weight during repeated testing for structure, pivot and table stability, and even tip over and balance design.
Did you know that companies have to pay to have their equipment tested and there is no guarantee the unit will be strong enough to pass these tough standards? I think that is why even the next closest competitor, Ironman doesn’t have any of their equipment UL listed. By the way, the Ironman Gravity 4000 is the decompression model I own personally and after my extensive testing of the Teeter EP 560, I’d trade mine in a heartbeat, the Teeter inversion system really is that much better.
Ankle Support System
Here you will find the Ergo-Embrace ankle support system which uses both front and rear comfort cuff padded ankle supports for top notch comfort. These are the people who created inversion boots where you hang all your weight off your ankles. Ergo-Embrace also provides the user with an adjustable foot rest which will pivot 180-degrees in order to provide the option of 1” of lift if to bring your feet closer to the ankle cuffs if you prefer to invert without shoes on as I do.
Since the Teeter Hang Ups EP 560 incline unit is one of the few models which easily inverts to full 90-degree lockout the Ergo-Embrace comfort cuffs insure a comfortable experience for the user. Let me point something out here really quick since I mentioned lockout. Teeter doesn’t not have any form of breaking gear on the EP 560, which means the unit does not lock in one place.
The backrest of the best incline table under $300 for 2016 has the most unique design of any model at any price. ComforTrak™ means that your new table will have slots running up and down the length of the backrest which will allow you to place optional acupressure nodes or a lumbar bridge for added muscle stimulation and decompression. While these are sold as accessories for the model we are talking about they may be worth checking in to.
The ComforTrak™ backrest was also designed to provide ventilation to the full back area during warm temperature usage. You will find it also features 3 built in stretch handle, one on each side of your head and one additional one above your head to help aid in your decompression stretching routine.
Are you interested in a unit that is both heavy duty for safety as mentioned above but is also light enough to fold up and store easily? Well, that just one more reason why the Teeter EP 560 outperformed even the bestselling Ironman Gravity 4000. The EP 560 weighs in a full 11lbs. lighter than the ironman and here is a photo to show you how well it folds almost flat, much flatter than any major competitor.
What good is a new incline unit if you’re not sure how to set it up or use it? In addition to well written manuals, Teeter includes a DVD with a full set of set-up and use instructions as well as a 5 set instructional program narrated by a Chiropractor teaching you how to stretch and prepare for core and whole body decompression therapy.
This has to be one of the most important parts. Teeter puts a 5 year parts and labor warranty on this entire inversion table. Do you realize that the next closest company only gives you one year on the frame and 90 days on parts to the original owner?
I want you to keep in mind that there are several pretty good incline units that you can buy for quite a bit less than this one. But the title of this article was “Best Inversion Table Under $300 for 2016” and the Teeter Hang Ups EP 560 is hands down the best you can buy today.
